YEA! THE WINNER'S CIRCLE! This is what the effort is all about - to reach these calm shallow clear spawning beds. The trout you see in this photo are only a small part of the total school holding in this and several other pools. Each one of these trout made it over the falls. Now the males will spare and fight over females and spawning beds. The adults hang around the nest for a bit to protect it.
