A Family Atmosphere
Family atmosphere is our passion. We believe that there is no greater place in the world in which to entertain and enjoy your family than right here on the White River. We provide many hours of enjoyment for family picnics, reunions, Boy Scout groups, church organizations, and business retreats on our campground. We have even hosted several weddings.

Horseshoes and washer pitch games are provided for competition on the campground. There is plenty of room for you to bring other games such as badminton or volleyball if you choose. Some of our dads have done their best baseball coaching with their sons in the privacy of our campground. Many children have already experienced the joy of learning to fish from the shore's edge of our part of the river.

Location
Angels Retreat is in the heart of Rea Valley, just south of Flippin, Arkansas, on the banks of the Arkansas White River. Our campground snuggles right up to the river's crystal clear waters. The covered front porch of our spacious guesthouse (photo #2) over-looks the White and has a view of beautiful Fletcher Mountain which keeps a watchful eye on the river. Our private and exclusive location assures our customers of a quiet peaceful place to get away from it all. Only one other building is visible from our grounds, and it's a mile away.

The Guesthouse
Comfortable and contemporary facilities are the watchwords here at Angels Retreat. Our 1100 sq. ft 2 bedroom 1 bath guesthouse is brand new and was completed and opened for business in June, 2000. Every room has a ceiling fan. The house has a heat-on-demand hot water heater so you won't run out of hot water. Central heat and central air conditioning keep you in the comfort zone any time of year.

The furniture in the living room (photo #1 above) consists of an over-sized sofa, love seat, matching chair, and a rocker-recliner. There's a variety of magazines on the coffee table. Satellite TV with remote keeps you current on your favorite TV shows.

The kitchen is equipped with all new Magic Chef appliances, including dishwasher and electric range with vent hood, cookware, dishes, silverware, microwave, coffeemaker, electric can opener, and toaster. There's plenty of counter space making meal preparation the pleasure it should be. The dinette seats 4 to 6 persons comfortably. An extra dining table can be brought in to accommodate larger groups.

The spacious bedrooms each have two double beds, a bunk with twin on top and futon on bottom, and large closets. The open floor plan of the living area is large enough to accommodate a set of bunk beds on one end, thus giving the guesthouse the capacity of sleeping up to fourteen people. The bathroom has a deep tub with a shower. Daily housekeeping is optional. The guesthouse yard has a full size grill for cookouts. Children love to run and play on the large fields surrounding the guesthouse.

Guided Spin-cast Fishing Trips
One or two people - $275 per day Price includes all bait, tackle, and choice of shore or box lunch. Fishing licenses and trout stamps are not included.
Guided Fly Fishing Trips
One or two people - $350 per day Price includes shore or box lunch and reasonable flies. Fishing licenses and trout stamps are not included. Fly Fishing Special For Two Stay three nights, fish for two days, and receive a $50 gift certificate to your favorite fly shop.
Private Campground Rental
Prices vary according to the number of people and tents. The campground includes picnic tables, pavilion, firewood, and exclusive use of the boat ramp.
